Pentecost Viva La Fiesta Church Charity Event

It was such a pleasant surprise for me to be asked by my church to participate in the Pentecost charity event.  Their idea was during Pentecost people spoke in so many different languages so asked people from different countries to cook their special dishes..   So my mum cooked the fried noodle Indonesian style and I baked 4 different flavours of cupcake.  They are red velvet with cream cheese filling and white chocolate buttercream, strawberry shortcake with strawberry frosting, ferrero rocher chocolate with dark chocolate buttercream and lemon meringue cupcake with lemon curd filling and lemon meringue frosting…  My oh my.. the hardest to make was the lemon meringue since there are so many elements involved in making that.  Started with baking the cupcake, the lemon curd filling and the lemon meringue frosting…   I’m very proud that on that day we sold the fried noodles and 100 cupcakes within just 1 hour.  I consider that as quite an achievement.  These are just some photos of the event…
